# Quantlix authentication guide

Public content at https://quantlix.com/api/content/ and the read-only MCP endpoint at https://quantlix.com/mcp/ requires no credentials. The actual HTTP contracts are at https://quantlix.com/openapi.json. Supported tools search and read published website content.

## Pick a method

Use anonymous HTTPS access for public reads. Quantlix does not operate an OAuth authorization server or issue access tokens for this website. No identity_endpoint, claim_endpoint, identity_assertion, service_auth or ID-JAG exchange is implemented. There is no agent_auth metadata block to advertise.

## Register, claim and exchange

These steps are not required for public reading. Do not send identity assertions, passwords or bearer tokens to this site. There is no credential registration or exchange endpoint.

## Use and errors

Use GET /api/content/?q=RAG to search, or supply an exact published path to read. Invalid parameters return JSON with an error code, message and resolution hint. Unknown resources return 404. Missing runtime content returns 503. This public API does not emit an OAuth WWW-Authenticate challenge because no protected resource exists.

## Submissions and revocation

Contact and newsletter submissions require the person's explicit direction; contact also requires consent. A confirmed write returns 201. Retry an uncertain write only with the original Idempotency-Key and identical approved input; without a key, do not retry automatically. No account token exists to revoke.
